About Bill Musser, MS, LMT


Bill Musser has been practicing bodywork for over 40 years. He has treated a wide range of stress and work related injuries. His clients have included individuals from a variety of professions and trades as well as athletes ranging from ‘weekend warriors’ to intercollegiate and professional athletes including Olympic gold medalists and world record-holders. He completed a Master’s degree with emphases in the psycho-social aspects of movement and exercise physiology. He served as principal investigator on a National Institutes of Health study focused on carpal tunnel syndrome and as chairman of the Oregon Board of Massage Therapists. He has been teaching advanced massage treatment courses for over 25 years, including serving on the faculty of Central Oregon Community College and teaching workshops throughout Oregon and in New Mexico. He was selected as the National Teacher of the Year (2000) by the American Massage Therapy Association Council of Schools. In addition to his career in massage, Bill has been an orthopedic nurse and a university instructor, coach and administrator. As a former NCAA College Division All-American and sometimes current competitive swimmer, Bill understands the strains and pressures faced by athletes.
